The storyline is that humans from Earth, want to pilfer this other planet inhabited by humanoid natives, the Na'vi, for their natural resource, some kind of element (natural resource). But their world is beee-utiful and vibrant, maybe you could imagine everything in Day-GLO colors. Their animals were very exotic, and unique, just like the natives themselves. They were interconnected via each other, the animals, and most importantly, the framework of the Earth/planet, via root systems and plant life. Once, their soul died, it became the "all", I think they called it Aya? Human scientists were able to attach their human nervous systems to a body of one of the natives, a body the scientists created in the lab. And these scientists and one soldier become part of the natives' culture.
Quanta Earth is Mother Earth, a living/breathing being herself. That core that burns deep in the center of the planet is ALIVE! She is working, spinning on her axis, and ensuring the balance of life; or trying very hard to. Plants, animals, humanoids, all being interconnected? That's crazy. No it's not. The Quantum Entanglement theory is that it was a "Big Bang", and suddenly things formed on Earth and throughout the universe, quite possibly the universe itself. But because the big bang originated from one single piece/lump/action of matter, it maintains a BOND. So if one particle is "charged " in Egypt and another particle is on Mars, that particle on Mars would feel the same "charge". And if everything that we know today, originated from the same single source of matter, then we are ALL CONNECTED.
Dr. Quantum Entanglement theory
This is why the Law of Attraction works. You send that intention as waves (remember double slit experiment? Dr. Quantum Double Slit) and those waves in turn create a ripple effect thereby affecting your future. Because of the entanglement theory, since EVERYTHING is interconnected, everything is affected by your thoughts or waves of intention. The more waves you send, the more likely you will be able to influence your outcome. That goes for large amounts of people emitting the same waves/intentions; each additional person's intentions generate that much more powerful intention. So, to sum up, the natives have this interconnectedness with the forest, themselves, and with other animals.
And life on this planet is very buddha, but with some different rules. They are born only twice. I precisely remember the quote, "Energy is only borrowed", meaning one borrows the energy to live their life, but recycles it once the body dies. Thanks are given for all animals that had to die at these natives' hands, celebrating the soul, and wishing it well in Aya. (I don't believe I've heard any theory from quantum physics about death (after))
Anyway, the movie was so good. It dragged at only one section where they were hot dogging with the animals they flew. But you couldn't help but love the feeling of yourself being emerged into their vibrant world via the 3D technology and by all means, great and perfectly brilliant cinematography and vantage point of the movie watcher. At times, I really just lost myself in that movie.
I am absolutely sure other movie production companies will use this technology in the future, so SAVE your 3D glasses!!! It is a surreal experience that you can use for ANY movie to involve the audience at almost a personal level.
I'm seeing this movie again in 3-D tonight, can't wait.
ReplyDeleteThe movie made me think of how the American Govt took over the Native Americans not so long ago. Great Blog.
Thank you Tom! Yeah, I saw it in a small theatre in 3-D and it was incredible. I will be seeing it again soon at an IMAX!
