Avatar movie review

Avatar definitely had quantum themes to it. Firstly, the 3D effects of it were amazing, mesmerizing at times, a little flinchy because you think something has flown just in front your face-that's fun!
The storyline is that humans from Earth, want to pilfer this other planet inhabited by humanoid natives, the Na'vi, for their natural resource, some kind of element (natural resource).  But their world is beee-utiful and vibrant, maybe you could imagine everything in Day-GLO colors.  Their animals were very exotic, and unique, just like the natives themselves.  They were interconnected via each other, the animals, and most importantly, the framework of the Earth/planet, via root systems and plant life. Once, their soul died, it became the "all", I think they called it Aya?  Human scientists were able to attach their human nervous systems to a body of one of the natives, a body the scientists created in the lab.  And these scientists and one soldier become part of the natives' culture.

Quanta Earth is Mother Earth, a living/breathing being herself.  That core that burns deep in the center of the planet is ALIVE!  She is working, spinning on her axis, and ensuring the balance of life; or trying very hard to. Plants, animals, humanoids, all being interconnected? That's crazy. No it's not.  The Quantum Entanglement theory is that it was a "Big Bang", and suddenly things formed on Earth and throughout the universe, quite possibly the universe itself.  But because the big bang originated from one single piece/lump/action of matter, it maintains a BOND.  So if one particle is "charged " in Egypt and another particle is on Mars, that particle on Mars would feel the same "charge".  And if everything that we know today, originated from the same single source of matter, then we are ALL CONNECTED.
Dr. Quantum Entanglement theory
This is why the Law of Attraction works. You send that intention as waves (remember double slit experiment? Dr. Quantum Double Slit) and those waves in turn create a ripple effect thereby affecting your future.  Because of the entanglement theory, since EVERYTHING is interconnected, everything is affected by your thoughts or waves of intention. The more waves you send, the more likely you will be able to influence your outcome.  That goes for large amounts of people emitting the same waves/intentions; each additional person's intentions generate that much more powerful intention.  So, to sum up, the natives have this interconnectedness with the forest, themselves, and with other animals.
And life on this planet is very buddha, but with some different rules.  They are born only twice.  I precisely remember the quote, "Energy is only borrowed", meaning one borrows the energy to live their life, but recycles it once the body dies. Thanks are given for all animals that had to die at these natives' hands, celebrating the soul, and wishing it well in Aya.  (I don't believe I've heard any theory from quantum physics about death (after))
Anyway, the movie was so good. It dragged at only one section where they were hot dogging with the animals they flew.  But you couldn't help but love the feeling of yourself being emerged into their vibrant world via the 3D technology and by all means, great and perfectly brilliant cinematography and vantage point of the movie watcher. At times, I really just lost myself in that movie.
I am absolutely sure other movie production companies will use this technology in the future, so SAVE your 3D glasses!!!  It is a surreal experience that you can use for ANY movie to involve the audience at almost a personal level.

Permission to be....

What is right and wrong?  Who or what defines that?
In the debate of Nature vs. Nurture..."Nurture" consists of our role models (mom and dad, family members) and peers.  They do a lot to define (nurture) what's right or wrong throughout our upbringing.  Media and social trends influence a lot of what's perceived as right and wrong. For example,  oral sex is illegal in some states. Apparently that's deemed wrong although I think both my male AND female counterparts would disagree!
And of course....religion perfectly defines right and wrong in 10 universal commandments.

Garbage in - Garbage out
If what we learn is perceived "right", is it "right" for everyone?  It's a lot like the old adage, "another man's trash, is another man's treasure."
And here, we find ourselves at the observer level, once again.  If you remember, matter did not BEHAVE the same way when it was observed in the double slit experiment.
Just like beauty is in the eye of the beholder, much like every thing, thought, notion, idea, occurrence, conversation, act.... any transaction of waves we emit into the universe; it is observed, at least, by self. And in the observation, it is then deliberated upon by the observer (your self), at either an unconscious or conscious level, to form an opinion.
And then our filters, based on Nurture, societal influence, and religion, among others; filter all of the information we just observed and voila, right or wrong is determined by criteria as complex and illusive as the google search engine algorithm.
What about the right and wrong police?  who are those people? Why do they enforce?  What makes them judicious?  After all just like every human being, we've had unique experiences in defining what's right and wrong. Who says their version of right is the same as the next guy's?
Here's my point. I'll get to it.
Nurture is human influence.
Societal values are influenced by humans.
Religions were recounted and documented by humans.
Everyone who observes what creates right and wrong is human.
Then I say this...
To err is human.

Physicists (PhD's), Psychology NLP, metaphysics, and prayer agree

Here's what I find fascinating. The "thought" that makes up the worlds of physicists, psychologists, metaphysics, and prayer seem to consist of the same idea, but just using different language to describe it. Let's take a further look down the rabbit hole, shall we?

Metaphysics
The ether, the universe, the "all".   I think the notion of "karma" is erected here in metaphysics.  In a nutshell, karma is... If you do good things, good things will come around to you. If you do bad things, bad things come back to you.
Psychology and NLP or Neuro Linquistic Programming
This is a more psychology and acadamia based school of thought.  This started in the 1970's with Milton and Satir and the power of influence through words, eliciting emotions, and intentions.
Now,  setting intentions are what one expects to occur in the future. As part of setting an intention,  a goal is identifiedin the timestream set in the future, say Sept 1, 2010, and a celebration act of achieving that goal needs to be experienced as if it were happening right now.  By experiencing those emotions you are setting that intention in the future and in motion more importantly.  More commercially known, it's the movie called the Secret. Although I'm not a big fan of Hollywood rhetoric, the movie gets the point across very easily of what it IS to set an intention.

And here's where philosphy meets science. Quantum Physics.

Quantum Jivers, as you learned in the last blog, everything around us is made up of waves.  Just like the movie the Matrix has lines of encrypted green code that make up the matrix, we here on Earth have nothing but waves that make up every seen and unseen thing around us.  Here is where the PhDs (physicists) made suggestions of "willing" the waves around you.  This is equivalent to "intention".  This is equivalent to even "karma" perhaps.  And like a drop of water in a still pond, you can see the wave effects strewn across the distance of the lake, no matter how miniscule and small, it is still a wave that originated by that one drop.  And that is precisely what the PhD's think.... one person emits a set of thoughts and it goes into our world in waves and emanates.  I suppose the more you do it, the more waves you put out there. This also touches on the quantum theory of entanglement, which will be discussed in a future blog.

One more thought here.

Prayer
In the book, Think and Grow Rich written in 1937, Napoleon Hill is not especially religious, but he makes a particular note that prayer is absolutely necessary to achieve all that you want. Literally he writes, "I don't know why, it just works".  Hill's book is largely focusing on the Law of Attraction. Prayer is also very much doing the same thing as setting intentions, or emitting thoughts, or perhaps "karma". One is talking to oneself, internally, externally, over and over again. Sure the word "God" or equivalent deity will get inserted, but one is still praying about a specific subject.

Is there not consistency here in all 4 groups of thinkers?
Do you think it's possible to influence your outcome by willing it so by prayer, thoughts, intentions, or karma?
Do you think if 1 Million people all setting intentions to Peace would have an effect on a future outcome?
Do you think 1 Million people watching TV with images of war and destruction would have an effect on a future outcome?

Or simply stated....
Do you think?

When you think. Think twice, maybe three times, maybe every day or night. But when you think, make it purposeful. You might get exactly what you intended, good or bad.

Follow the white rabbit.....

Welcome to Quantum Jive, where jive is inter-dimensional.
This is philosophy, deep thinking, quantum, meta-physical, spiritual, maybe religion/maybe not, faith, non-establishment, thinkin. period.

Philosophy is much like artwork. It's beauty is in the "eye of the beholder". Each person interprets words and ideas differently...that's the BEAUTY. I request that you too, also impart the beauty you see so that we all may benefit to find beauty mutually exclusive.

And so...
Here are some encouraging lines from a fave movie o mine, you can guess... but I've modified it slightly so that it sends a message...to you. Just as it has done for me.

'Wake up'
'The establishment has you...'
(What the hell?)
'Follow the white rabbit...'
(Follow the white rabbit?)
'Knock knock...'

..........................................
Follow me down the rabbit hole. Where it goes, not even the best PhD's of physics know, but the rabbit hole descends and quite possibly transcends.

Do not feel inclined to chew on a mushroom or eat candy Alice, as that will only sugarcoat Wonderland, and stave off discovery of what REALLY is just a bunch of waves. Waves are comparable to what we saw in the movie Matrix, except those were all bits and bytes, and incessant lines of code in all its green encrypted greatness. But soon, Neo saw it for what is was, just green DEcrypted Matrix.

Back to our world, it seems everything here is in waves. Yes, precisely waves, in the most curious way. I know this comes as a surprise and all, but rather than explain it, I'd prefer a Dr. Quantum cartoon to do that for you (and me).......

Enjoy quantum jivers because this is just the beginning....
