This theory is found in a book called "The Wealth of Nations" written in the 1700's by Adam Smith, a popular economic philospher, regarding the tariffs, taxes, and limitations put on the shipping trade during that time.
I believe this same principle belongs to humans, our community, nation, the world, the universe. If you leave everyone free to choose as they please, the group, our community, our nation, even quite possibly the world, will benefit largely.
"Choosing as one Pleases-"
I believe we are all born with natural talents/skills and as one gets older, that talent becomes very apparent if listened to, witnessed, or becomes consistent over time. We all are good for something very important here, on Earth, our existence, maybe our success as a planet?
People should be left to perform/be hired/get paid/be of value for the talents that come natural and skilled to them!
If we are left to live our lives, independently, but mutually exclusive, the resulting collaboration could be...enlightening!
My enlightening experience with a complete stranger in March 2008:
A guy, close in age, healthy looking... turned around and said... do you think you belong in this story? Without hesitation I answered, absofuckinglutely I belong, I'm here for a reason. He stopped right away... and started clarifying his question because it's possible I answered it too quick and he wanted me to see a point he was trying to make. Our dialog went like this...

(guy) Who does love belong to?
(me) everyone
(guy) Do you have love?
(me) yes!
(guy) Who do you belong to?
(me- I thoughtfully replied) hmmmmmm everyone.
He told me 99% of the people say they belong to themselves and very few people say everyone. I bet this answer is changing at an exponential rate.
My point is this... I think we are on the cusp of an age of enlightenment. If we do what we are all best at, and if we aspire to give our greatest performance using our gifted/innate talents, the benefits will not only be self-serving, they will affect us globally: our neighbors, community, states, nation, countries, and the planet; essentially evolving the human species.
If you haven't recognized your skills, then you should seek it. Read books like "What color is your Parachute", pray/meditate, ask friends and family what they think you are good at (often you overlook your talents b/c they come so easy!), and maybe shop for a good psychic if you are open to the idea. Whatever the case, if you are not doing what you have been put on this Earth to do.. you are wasting your talents, time, and contributions to humanity. Likely you are also not happy.
Find your self. Know thyself.
About this blog entry:
This blog was first written on myspace Nov 15 2008. This is the third time I have updated and published this blog. I continue to meet people who think like this man I ran into that day. Furthermore, understanding quantum physics theories has opened my mind to unimaginable possibilities and the energy of our universe. I'm beginning to think it's not so far away. And meeting/seeing more and more people (PhD's, scientists, religion, psychics, everyday ppl) aligned with similar beliefs demonstrates clearly that there is something happening to our awareness. Plug in people, our universe has been waiting a long time for this.
